Privacy Policy
Last updated September 19, 2026
The Tradesman's Eye (“we”, “us”) runs tradesmanseye.com to connect people who need work done with local skilled trades. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site or text us, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you submit the request form, we collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Project type
If you reply to our texts, we also keep the conversation: job details, location, timing, and anything else you send so we can make a match.
How we use it
- To text and call you about the project you submitted
- To recommend a local tradesman
- To operate, secure, and improve the matching service
We do not sell your information.
Who we share it with
We send your inquiry through TextWork, which handles the SMS conversation. We share job details with a tradesman only as needed to recommend them or introduce you. Carriers, hosting, and similar vendors see what they need to deliver the message.
Texts
By submitting your phone number you agree we may text you about this project. Message frequency depends on the conversation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and conversation records as long as needed to finish the match and handle follow-up, then as long as we have a legal or operational reason to keep them.
Your choices
You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by using the contact form and saying it is a privacy request. You can also stop texts with STOP.
Children
This service is not for children under 13. Do not submit a request for a child.
Changes
We will post updates on this page. Continued use after a change means the new policy applies.
