These terms apply when you use tradesmanseye.com or request a tradesman through The Tradesman's Eye.

What this service is

We take a description of a job, text you for details, and recommend a local tradesman. We are a matching and intake service. We are not the contractor unless we say so in writing for a specific job.

Your job with the tradesman

Price, scope, licensing, insurance, permits, and the work itself are between you and the tradesman. Check those yourself before you hire. We do not guarantee that a recommendation will accept the job, finish it, or meet a particular standard.

Your information

You agree the information you submit is accurate and that we may contact you by text or phone about the project. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle that information. SMS is handled by TextWork.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site for illegal work, harassment, or to submit someone else's contact details without their permission.

No warranty

The site and matching are provided as is. We do not warrant uninterrupted service or that a match will be available in your area.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the tradesman's work, delay, or failure to perform. Our liability for a claim about this service is limited to zero dollars if you paid us nothing, or the amount you paid us for that request.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page.
